Each home has numerous forums for enabling young people to express their views appropriately, build self-esteem, contribute to the running of the home they live in and the organisation that manages these homes.

Other forums include:

– Questionnaires/Surveys: Which are undertaken in various formats monthly.

– 1:1 time with their Key Worker: Young people regularly express their views and feelings with their Key Worker. The Key Worker listens, records, responds and acts, and updates the Placement Plan as required.

– New staff recruitment: Young people are fully involved in the recruitment process. This process makes an excellent contribution to the home’s wider approach to participation, safeguarding and protection.
