It is a barge that is offering short term placement in situations where a bridging placement maybe required for a short period whilst a new placement/home is identified and can also be used to give some young people a period of respite.[/mk_fancy_title]

The maximum stay on Shrewsbury will be for 28 days placements accommodate young females and males who are aged between 8-17 years.

Shrewsbury is based in a wonderful part of rural Lancashire on the Rufford Branch of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal where we can sail and moor the boat. From where the boat is based we can explore the beautiful western parts of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and just a little further away is the stunning eastern reaches of the Leeds and Liverpool through Skipton and into Leeds.

As well as taking the Barge up and down the canals we also do a lot of other activities with the young people that we have in placement as well as helping them to build their life skills.
