A former Police Officer for Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Prison Officer in a Category B Male prison with six years of experience working in Residential Childcare; Danny joined Exceptional Care in April 2021 and has a Foundation Degree in Policing & Community Safety; his past experiences give him transferable skills which allow him to meet the needs of the Home and its accommodated children. Danny has also completed extensive training on Safeguarding, CSE and other relevant areas from the Police which has enabled Danny to develop a calm and composed way when dealing with situations within the Home and he applies a therapeutic approach to his behaviour management and conflict resolution. Danny has also completed his NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and is on course to complete his NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in June 2022
